About Leanne

lmn_ollie_edited.jpg

Leanne spent the spent the majority of her childhood playing the

piano and French horn, performing in community theater, getting involved in church youth activities

with her older/shorter sister Katie, and performing in the vocal and handbell choirs at the First United

Methodist Church in O’Fallon, IL. She went on to graduate from Eastern Illinois University in 2007

with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication

Studies/Broadcast News.

Leanne then joined the Channel 3 CBS team as a

promotion producer at WCIA-TV in Champaign, IL. A few years

later, the broadcaster was called to put down her camera lenses

and put on some serious Jesus lenses. Leanne quit her job, moved

up north, and quickly immersed herself at Garrett-Evangelical

Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL. She went on to earn her

Master of Divinity degree in 2012 and was later ordained as an

elder in full connection by Bishop Keaton in 2015.

Upon her seminary completion, the self-proclaimed

“Microwaving Expert” served in Effingham, IL as Associate

Pastor; Clinton, IL as Directing Pastor; and will soon be saying

goodbye to Canton Wesley UMC after serving three years as

their Associate Pastor.

Her favorite things to do outside of church include:

making up ridiculous dance moves with her six-year-old niece

Claire and three-year-old nephew Brooks; shooting and editing videos/photos; anything involving

musical theater; being an advocate for the mental health community; and attempting to exercise.

Leanne currently resides with her furry child, Ivy, a three-year-old American Eskimo who

enjoys shaking hands, jumping three feet in the air, and barking at leaves. Ivy’s partner in crime is

Scotland Fitzgerald, a handsome tabby cat commonly seen sporting a bow tie. Penelope Marie is a

sweet grey/black domesticate shorthair and the only normal one of the family. The newest member of

the Noland household is a one-year-old tortoise named Theodore. He’s not one for long conversations.

Leanne knows God has appointed her to Grace UMC for “such a time as this”. She is truly

excited to call Nashville
